Global Response to Responsible Fisheries

Speaker: Nomura  Ichiro 
Fisheries Policy Advisor for the Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries. Mr. Nomura held, from 2000 to 2010, the position of Assistant Director-General and head of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Department of FAO in Rome where he was responsible for all FAO programmes and activities in the field of fisheries and aquaculture.

Dr. Cui He is the Vice Executive President & Secretary General of China Aquatic Products Processing and Marketing Alliance (CAPPMA).  Dr. CUI has rich knowledge on whole production line of processed aquatic products, including various types of fish, crab, and shrimps.

New movement to Sustainable Aquaculture

Chris Ninnes was appointed CEO of the Aquaculture Stewardship Council ( ASC)  in October 2011.  He continues to hold that appointment. Before joining ASC, Chris held various senior positions in the different sectors including NGO, Commercial companies and Government Agency.
